This respirator is approved by NIOSH under the NIOSH 42 CFR 84 respirator certification regulations. This Paint & Pesticide respirator is approved to the R95/OV category. R95 filters are at least 95% efficient against oil-based contaminants, and resist degradation for at least an 8-hour shift. The OV classification means that the respirator is also approved for organic vapors.

This soft, comfortable full facepiece respirator features organic vapor and R95 prefilters, making it a good choice for protection from certain types of paints and pesticides. MSA Safety Works’ soft, comfortable full facepiece respirator features flared back replaceable cartridges. This respirator is designed for applications that have exposures that need both eye and respiratory protection. The respirator can generally be used for higher concentrations of contaminants (exceptions do apply-contact MSA Safety Works for recommendations) than a standard half mask respirator. Users will appreciate the handy durable storage container that helps protect the respirator when not in use.
